Meeting Rooms

The Kansas City Public Library encourages neighborhood and community groups to take advantage of our versatile meeting rooms.

Booking Types

Select "Meeting Rooms" Business or Non-Business as the booking type.

  • Business Group: A for-profit business. Examples include attorney, construction company, consulting firm, etc.
  • Non-Business Group: Anything which is not a for-profit business. Examples include non-profit organization, sorority/fraternity, neighborhood group, etc.

Rental Rates

Room rates are based on location and your group's status. Room payment is due prior to your meeting/event and can be accepted via credit card on this site.

Branch Meeting Rooms

  • Business Rate: $20 per two hours
  • Non-Business Rate: Free

Central Library - Rooms 310, 311, 312, and 314

  • Business Rate: $75 per two hours
  • Non-Business Rate: $30 per two hours

Central Library - Chairman's Office

  • Business Rate: $40 per two hours
  • Non-Business Rate: Free
